I was on my return from a drop off at Glasgow Airport when I spotted Maria and Vici who had just arrived from sunny Grimma in Saxony, 25 Kilometres from Leipzig. Club Championship Qualifier
Sat 24 June was one of the toughest golfing days with gale force winds and the odd rogue shower sweeping the golf course . The third qualifier took place and I was pleased to get round with the lowest scratch score of the day 78. The main aim of the day was to plot your way round the golf course and stay out of the punishing rough which has really taken hold. Annual Dollar Rugby Club Dinner
The annual Dollar Rugby Club Dinner (23/06) was another great success with Rob Wainright the main speaker. It was a pleasure driving the Graeme Morrison (photo) party a combination of Dollar Academy, Glasgow Warrior and Scotland Intrernational players. Great company look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Teen Challenge Charity Golf Day
Excellent day on Friday 16 June for the 9th Annual Charity golf day. The newly refurbished Gleddoch Hotel and golf course was a fitting venue for the event when 20 teams of 4 golfers took to the fairways. Well ne to Greenwood Insurance with a score of 124 who were the winners for the first time. More than £10,000 was raised on the day.


Crieff Golf Club
Played Crieff Golf Course this week. Excellent condition, warm welcome from everyone, beautiful scenery recommend a visit. Stay at the Crie ff Hydro that backs onto the 16th green.

David Finkel Golf Tour
It has been a pleasure driving around Scotland for the last 4 days with the David Finkel party. Inverness, The Nairn Golf Club, Royal Dornoch, Dunrobin Castle, Skibo Castle, Singleton Whisky Distillery, Torridon, Castle Stuart and St Andrews. Great weather, great scenery and great company.
