I was on my return from a drop off at Glasgow Airport when I spotted Maria and Vici who had just arrived from sunny Grimma in Saxony, 25 Kilometres from Leipzig. Maria has been here before but for Vici this was her first visit welcome to Scotland ...... unfortunately it was a very wet day in Glasgow however girls the forecast is to improve! The annual Dollar Rugby Club Dinner (23/06) was another great success with Rob Wainright the main speaker. It was a pleasure driving the Graeme Morrison (photo) party a combination of Dollar Academy, Glasgow Warrior and Scotland Intrernational players. Great company look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Excellent day on Friday 16 June for the 9th Annual Charity golf day. The newly refurbished Gleddoch Hotel and golf course was a fitting venue for the event when 20 teams of 4 golfers took to the fairways. Well ne to Greenwood Insurance with a score of 124 who were the winners for the first time. More than £10,000 was raised on the day.
It has been a pleasure driving around Scotland for the last 4 days with the David Finkel party. Inverness, The Nairn Golf Club, Royal Dornoch, Dunrobin Castle, Skibo Castle, Singleton Whisky Distillery, Torridon, Castle Stuart and St Andrews. Great weather, great scenery and great company.
