Club Championship Qualifier

Sat 24 June was one of the toughest golfing days with gale force winds and the odd rogue shower sweeping the golf course

. The third qualifier took place and I was pleased to get round with the lowest scratch score of the day 78. The main aim of the day was to plot your way round the golf course and stay out of the punishing rough which has really taken hold. The driver stayed in the bag except on 4 occasions the score was helped by holing some crucial putts on the ever improving greens.
