VisitScotland Expo 2017
A great day at the SECC in Glasgow networking with successful Scottish businesses providing services to the Scotland Travel & Tourist business.

Disclosure Scotland approved
Another step in the professional driving level came with the successful approval of the Disclosure Scotland application. This shows total clarity and confidence that you have a driver PVG cleared to drive with no convictions, court proceedings or previous misdemeanours allowed to drive for local councils to assist in the transportation of vulnerable adults, children and the disabled.

Drummond Castle and Gardens
Easter Sunday was spent exploring Drummond Castle, Crieff the venue for numerous films and television programmes including Rob Roy and Outlander. The gardens have still to be planted for the new season but you can see the potential I look forward to taking guests here in the summer.

Allianz BMW St Andrews
The third Allianz Old Course Tournament took place on Tuesday 11 April. It was a blustery day but was another great success with 92 golfers taking to the fairways. The partnership between Allianz, BMW and RGA brought players from all over the world to The Fairmont Hotel. The combination of German engineering, with typical organisation and efficiency, together with traditional Scottish hospitality was a successful recipe. Experienced drivers many who have driven at golf events

Business Gateway #THEHEAT17
Another great event organised by Business Gateway on 16 March. The top 10 new businesses in Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling pitched their business to the 'friendly' dragons similar to the popular TV programme. The 3 minute pitch was not as strong as when practicing in the kitchen! but the 5 minute question and answer session was the highlight. Well done to Central Scotland School of Jewellery, Better Fresh and Megan Rose Bridal for their top 3 places in #TheHEAT17 @bga
