Spent the afternoon visiting the only remaining Scottish locations for Outlander. Gosford House (Palace of Versailles), Battle of Prestonpans 21 September 1745 including the battlefield, the last stand at Bankton House and Pinkie House where Bonnie Prince Charlie resided after the battle (now Loretto House), Newhailes House (Governor Tryons residence in North Carolina), Preston Mill in East Linton (Jamie hides from the redcoats).
